4 daughters ages 47, 45, 36, 22 years old who are living in Omaha, Nebraska, Bend, Oregon & Orlando, Florida. Partner of 40 years who is a Saylor Township Trustee and former ambulance director. He also serves on the Ankeny Airport Authority.

I have lived in the district for 36 years.

When my daughters were in school here I was a member of the PTO and assisted in school and classroom projects.
Why are you interested in running for the Saydel School Board?
I am running for the Board to be a voice for the community. I would like to bring feedback, concerns, and issues to the board in order to identify problems and find solutions. Saydel Community School District has been achieving success in its academics and high standards. I want to fight to ensure these successes continue.

How long have you lived in the Saydel Community School District?
I've lived in the Saydel Community School District my entire life. I started my educational journey at Cornell Elementary and graduated from Saydel High School in 2006. Now, as a parent, I’m proud that all three of my children have either attended or are currently attending Saydel schools. This district has always been home to me—both as a student and as a parent.

Athletic Booster Club, After Prom Committee, Steering Committee, Little Eagles Wrestling Club, I have worked the High School Basketball table for 16 years, I have coached HS Volleyball, Softball, MS boys & girls basketball & softball.
Why are you interested in running for the Saydel School Board?
I love everything Saydel has to offer. I’m running for the Saydel School Board to advocate for the success of every student through honest communication, teamwork, and a clear vision for the future. I believe in listening to our families, supporting our educators and making informed decisions that reflect the values and needs of our entire district.

Why are you interested in running for the Saydel School Board?
I am running for re-election for Saydel School Board to be given the opportunity to continue serving our community, families and students. I believe in empowering our District Staff, providing access to the highest levels of education, maintaining the pride of our alumni, and focusing on advancing our District. I believe in ensuring we stay focused on the needs of our taxpayers, while balancing the continued needs of our buildings and programs. I am excited for the continued opportunity to be the voice and representation of our Saydel community!

I grew up in the Saydel District, attended Norwoodville, Woodside and graduated from Saydel High School in 2004. Our family moved back into the district 3 years ago.

Why are you interested in running for the Saydel School Board?
I’m running for school board because I believe every student deserves the best opportunities to succeed. I want to make sure we are preparing our students not just academically, but for life beyond the classroom.
