Returning Students
The 2025-26 Registration on PowerSchool is no longer available. We are in the process of setting up a new student information system called Infinite Campus. In mid-July all families will receive an email with a link to set up a parent portal for Infinite Campus. It will ask you to review the information that has been transferred into the new system.

New Students - Grades 1-12
Families wishing to newly enroll into Saydel should stop by the Saydel District Office at 5740 NE 14th Street, Des Moines, Iowa between 8am and 4pm (Monday-Friday). Parents/Guardians are required to provide the following documents:
1) Proof of Residency in the parent or legal guardian's name (provide one of the following):
- Electric bill or confirmation of services within the last 60 days
- Water bill or confirmation of services within the last 60 days
- Lease or notarized statement from the landlord within the last 6 months
- House purchase agreement
- Mortgage statement within the last 60 days
- Polk County Assessors - a copy of web page verifying property ownership.
- If you do not have proof of residency, call the district at 515-264-0866 to discuss your situation.

6) Online Registration - once items 1-5 above are received, the registrar will email you a link to complete the online portion of the registration.
Additional forms may need to be returned to the school to complete registration. For example, a Free and Reduced Lunch Application must be completed yearly for all Pre-K students.

In August, you will receive communication from the school regarding which teacher(s) your student has been assigned to. If you have any questions regarding your student's teacher(s), please contact their building office.
